Tajpur, Manisamuri, Sirol, Narit, Kushberia, Sarada, Sitalchak, Bankura, Fatepur, Udang, Sonamui, Khardaha, Khanpur, Haturia, Naopara, Purnal, Agunshi-Bhuerha and Harop. The above villages are under Block Amta-I, II and Bagnan-I in the District of Howrah, West Bengal.

What We Do

Shyamaprosad Institute of Culture (SPIC) is a voluntary non-profit organisation established in 1961, working for rural development through social, cultural, and livelihood initiatives.

INFRASTRUCTURAL FACILITIES

  • Two-storied building with covered area of about 19,000 sq. ft.
  • One and half-storied building with covered area of about 6,000 sq. ft. (with meeting hall)
  • Two-storied building with covered area of about 2,000 sq. ft.
  • Agricultural land measuring about 3 acres (non-productive)
  • Weaving unit in own building
  • Telephone exchange in own building
  • Police out-post in own building
