Flood was the regular phenomenon originated from overflow of closeby river, Damodar in heavy monsoon bringing insurmountable problems to villagers and farmers. To prevent such natural calamities and living condition, in total 25km. of circular embankments in compassing 14 villages in 7 mouzas.
Construction of Tajpur Circuit Embankment 16km. long. It covered 5 mouzas comprising in 11 villages.
Benefit: It saved 2800 acres of agriculture land from flood. No. of direct beneficiaries about 2500 farmer families.
Construction of Narit-Sirol Circuit Embankment 9km. long. It covered 2 mouzas comprising 3 villages.
Benefit: It saved 900 acres of agriculture land from flood.
No. of direct beneficiaries about 600 farmer families.
